Timesavers MS300-4 Moulding/Profile Sander
The MS300-4 is designed to finish-sand, sealer-sand or de-nib three sides of work-pieces up to 12" wide. The sanding arbors consist of two (2) top spindles, one (1) right side spindle and one (1) left side angular spindle. The top spindles counter-rotate to provide even sanding.
Each top spindle is powered by independent 3/4 HP motors. The right spindle is powered by a 1/2 HP motor. The left angular spindle is powered by a 1/3 HP motor. One (1) A.C. Frequency Inverter controls RPM of the top spindles and one (1) A.C. Frequency Inverter controls RPM of the side spindles. Spindle speed is variable from 200-1200 RPM.
Top horizontal spindles are hand-wheel adjustable for part thickness and can be manually tilted to match the profile. The vertical right spindle can be manually tilted. The vertical left spindle can be manually tilted and is hand-wheel adjustable for height and hand-wheel adjustable for horizontal adjustment to match the profile.
The spindles are hexagonal in design to assure positive power transfer from the motors to the abrasives and can use any combination of specialized abrasives, which provide the most effective sanding action in the industry. Top spindles are 12" long. Side spindle is 5.5" long. Angular spindle is 4" long.
The roller feed system is powered by a 1/4 HP motor with an A.C. Frequency Converter. The feed speed is adjustable from 20-40 FPM. Pressure rollers are manually adjustable from 0-3" for part thickness.
Dust outlet sizes: Three (3), 3.5" diameter includes one (1) outlet for each top spindle and one (1) for the right spindle at 450 CFM each. There is also one (1) 2.5" diameter outlet for left spindle at 300 CFM. Total CFM is 1650 @ 5" of static pressure.
